Duration:
One Year.

Qualifications:
Essential - Masters degree in Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks from a recognized University.
Desirable - One year research experience on genetic study of ungulates. Experience in handling of mitochondrial and microsatellite markers.

Description of Work:
To conduct genetic study on collected biological samples of Sambar and other related deer species.

Remuneration:
The fellowship amount for the selected Technical Assistant is Rs. 9,600/- consolidated per month and Rs. 12,700/- in case of NET qualified candidate(s) for Research Fellows (UGC/CSIR).

Selection:
Based on Walk-in-Interview to be held on Monday, 19th March 2012 at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun. The registration will begin by 09:00 A.M. onwards. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in applications with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications, research experience, extra curricular activities, date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations. All original documents should be produced at the time of registration.
