The Conservation Research Group (CRG) at St. Albert’s College, Kochi, India - a leading centre for research on freshwater fish conservation is currently inviting applications from interested candidates for the post of Project Scientist (1 post), Research Fellow (1 post), Technical Assistant (1 post) and Interns (3-4) to join various projects on taxonomy and conservation of endemic freshwater fish species that are being carried out at the centre.

Project Scientist -
Age: Not more than 35 years [as on 1/1/2012.
Fellowship: Rs.17, 000/- per month (consolidated).
Duration: 16 months.
Eligibility: PhD in any branch of Life Sciences with at least 1-2 years of research experience in aquatic biology/fisheries.

Research Fellow -
Age: Not more than 28 years [as on 1/1/2012).
Fellowship: Rs.14, 000/- per month (consolidated).
Duration: 16 months.
Eligibility: MSc in any branch of Life Sciences.

Technical Assistant -
Age: Not more than 25 years [as on 1/1/2012).
Fellowship: Rs.9, 000/- per month (consolidated).
Duration: 16 months.
Eligibility: BSc in any branch of Life Sciences.

Interns -
Minimum period of internship is 4 months.

*All the above positions will involve extensive field work.
