A clean list of Odonata names have been uploaded on IBP based on Subramanian, K.A. and Babu, R. (2017). Checklist of Odonata (Insecta) of India. Version 3.0.

 Dear all,

I am happy to welcome you all to the launching of Frogfind bot today (11th March 2017, between 5pm to 8pm, at Jaaga Startup, 5/1, Penthouse 01, 6th Floor, Rich Homes Apartment, Richmond Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560025).

FrogFind Bot is a cross platform crowd sourced extension to the existing FrogFind app for Android.
It uses Messenger to understand input from users and gives back specific responses using a structured request/response flow. Operating on the same data set and fields of FrogFind, the bot allows users to ask specific questions about a frog and get back just that answer.

Example: What is the scientific name of Malabar Gliding Frog?. Users can search or browse through the frog card decks and access information as well.

Unstructured questions are constantly being captured that helps the bot to learn and have the answers eventually ready in it's offering. We welcome all your questions and suggestions, that will help the bot to learn and grow smarter.

Please join us in this citizen science initiative to conserve amphibians.

With warm regards
