    Description
    The paper deals with the study of faunal diversity of Orthoptera of Gomerda Wildlife Sanctuary, Raigarh District of Chhattisgarh. Altogether 47 species pertaining to 44 genera under seven families are reported for the first time from the sanctuary. Two species, i.e., Phonarellus (Phonarellus) erythrocephalus erythrocephalus (Serville, 1839) and Teleogryllus (Macroteleogryllus) mitratus (Burmeister, 1838) are new additions to the Chhattisgarh State.

    Description
    The paper deals with eight subterranean species of termites of the genus Odontotermes from Chhattisgarh, India. Taxonomic descriptions along with photographs and key to all species have been provided.  Among them six species are reported for the first time from the state.  These six species are added to the previously known eight species resulting in a total of 14 species of termite belonging to four genera under the family Termitidae from Chhattisgarh.

    Fourteen genera and 33 species of wasps belonging to the family Vespidae are reported from the Indian state of Chhattisgarh, of which seven genera and 23 species are new records for Chhattisgarh.

    Description
    An inventory of longhorned beetles of Chhattisgarh state has been attempted for the first time resulting in the enumeration of 10 species belonging to 8 genera and 6 tribes under 2 subfamilies. The descriptions of these species and distribution in Chhattisgarh and India are provided. Being economically important, the present account on longhorned beetles is important as it might help the state forest authorities to adopt control measures to minimize damage caused by these insects.

    Scarab beetles (Coleoptera: Scarabaeoidea) of Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary, Chhattisgarh, India

    Description
    A faunistic survey in Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary, Chhattisgarh revealed 43 species belonging to 25 genera, 16 tribes and eight subfamilies in two families, Hybosoridae and Scarabaeidae of the superfamily Scarabaeoidea. All the species are recorded for the first time from the Sanctuary, while 31 species are new to the scarab fauna of Chhattisgarh, India.
