Young Ecologist Talk and Interact(YETI) is a conference for ecology students and researchers to share their work and exchange ideas. YETI's uniqueness can be attributed to it being organized solely by student volunteers.This event is meant to serve as a friendly, inspiring platform for early-career ecologists to present and discuss their work, exchange ideas, and may be even strike up collaborations with contemporaries from all over the country.

Researchers pursuing a PhD/Masters degree/Post-Doc/working as project assistants, affiliates, etc. at institutions, universities, non-government and other organizations involved in research in ecology, evolution, animal behaviour, and conservation science across India are invited to make oral/poster presentations at YETI. However, anyone interested in ecology is welcome to attend YETI.

In 2010 YETI conference will be held in Bangalore at Indian Institute of Sciences (IISc) from Oct 5th to Oct 7th 2010.

Registration Fee: A nominal registration fee of Rs. 500/- would be payable. This includes lunch and tea for three days and two dinners. Outstation presenters will be provided accommodation free of cost for three days. However, YETI will not be able to provide any support towards travel.
