      Description
      Perennial climbers; stems sparsely pubescent or glabrous. Leaflets 6-18 x 3-9 cm, elliptic or ovate-elliptic, base cuneate, apex acute or acuminate; stipules deciduous. Racemes 15-37 cm long, tuberculate. Flowers c. 3 cm long; pedicels 2-4 mm long; bracteoles c. 2 mm long, obtuse. Calyx tube 6-7 mm long, sparsely pubescent; upper lobes 4-5 mm long, turncate; lower c. 3 mm long. Corolla pink; standard c. 2.8 x 3 cm, suborbiclar; wings long-clawed. Pods 15-32 x 3-3.3 cm, linear-oblong. Seeds 1.5-2 x 1-1.5 cm long, oblong, compressed, white.

          These are climbers and are classified as herbs. The leaflets are ovate, sparingly whitish or brown pubescent on both the surfaces, 8–20 × 8–12 cm, the base is cuneate or rounded with the apex being sharp. The infloresence is raceme with 10–20 flowers, the peduncles are 20–25 cm. The flowers are 2 or 3 and clustered at each node. The calyx is 15–16mm, slightly pubescent, lower lip with three acute teeth and upper lip rounded. Corolla is white or pink petals are clawed and auriculate, 3-3.5 cm in size. The standard is broadly elliptic, emarginate, wings and keel oblong, incurved and smaller than standard 3–3.5 × ca. 2.5 cm. Legumes are slightly curved, linear-oblong, 20–35 × 3.5–6 cm, each valve with an extra rib ~5mm from the sutural rib. The seeds are elliptic to oblong andd reddish brown, ~3.5 x 2 cm, hilium ~1.5 cm. Flowering: July–Sept. Fruiting October.
